The Challenge
At a major facility of a global tire manufacturer, every operator sat through 40 minutes of mandatory classroom retraining each year. The operators passed, the requirement was met, and the same execution errors kept showing up on the floor. The plant was paying twice, once in training hours that produced nothing, and again in the errors the training was supposed to prevent.
The Squint Solution
Teams rebuilt the retraining in Squint as interactive, step-by-step modules, with knowledge checks the Tribal Knowledge Agent generated straight from the procedures. Operators learn the correct method and then work from the same instructions on the floor, so what the training teaches is what the line runs.
The Results
Retraining now takes 16 minutes per operator instead of 40, and scores rose from 65% to 97%. The reclaimed time went straight back into production, more than 670 additional tires per cycle. Training stopped being a compliance cost and started showing up in output, which is the only place it ever mattered.
